I am a content creator with a passion for storytelling. I have ten years of experience as a video editor, more than five years of experience in video production, photography, and social media management, and three years of experience as a graphic designer. I love bringing stories to life visually, particularly within the digital sphere!

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

CONTENT SPECIALIST,  LOCAL WISDOM

November 2018 - Present

  • Consultant working in-house at Alkermes, Inc. in Waltham, MA.

  • Core team member for planning and development of a new platform (Alks2GO) that connects field employees to the home office and streamlines communications. 

  • Develops all visual assets (video, graphics, photography) for Alks2GO as well as manages the editorial calendar.

  • Works closely with various teams (training, marketing, compliance, etc.) to develop strategic and relevant content, both for Alks2GO as well as other uses.

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR,  NATIONAL STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

June 2015 - August 2019

  • Interviewed, hired, trained, and supervised all new social media coordinators across various NSLC sites (2018-2019).

  • Managed all facets of the NSLC’s social media presence at American University (2015-2017).

  • Created short-form videos highlighting participants’ experiences in the NSLC, including interviews with students and guest speakers, and b-roll of activities, classes, and extracurriculars (2015-2017).

  • Learned to utilize digital literacies to harness creative media and inform global problem-solving through a series of workshops and seminars focused on the topic of reimagining news and storytelling in an age of distrust.

  • Provided research assistance regarding various grant-funded projects with a focus on media as a conduit for community building.

February - June 2017

  • Contributed to American Pest’s online presence in the form of weekly blog posts, graphics, and videos.

  • Provided support to the marketing director as requested, often working to improve the SEO of the American Pest website.
